A Japanese Airline is looking for an Account Representative or Account Manager in Manhattan.
Summary: This position is responsible for generating passenger sales for the company to achieve sales target through personal contact with key persons at travel agencies, specialty accounts, corporations and with individual customers, supporting with other sales functions as necessary, and for building new business opportunities for the company
Duties: -Outside Passenger Sales, covering NY, NJ and CT. -Attain sales quotas in accordance with guidelines provided by Management -Strategize account portfolio management to maximize the outcome. -Develop account strategies by analyzing various data, gathering competitive information, understanding customers’ needs, and using all other resources. -Negotiate with internal and external counterparts -Implement a contract/scheme and educate travel agencies, travel managers, travel arrangers, travelers and/or other stakeholders to work/travel with Airline comfortably. -Maintain high level of visibilities and activities for assigned account portfolio -Visit or make sales calls to VIP customers and accounts to increase presence. -Other duties will be assigned
Education/Experience: -Native level of English(Japanese is not must). -Must have a driver’s license. -Bachelor’s degree required; At least two or three years of related sales experience required; Sales experience in the Airline/Travel industry preferred; Or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
