Description

Logistics Senior Associate for Japanese Household Goods Company in Manhattan

***This position requires 50% Business Trips to NJ & LA warehouse***

-Work with logistics members, other departments and store members in the company to achieve the goal -Communicate with related persons, company and supplier such as warehouse, import & Export broker, headquarter in Japan -Handle shipping documents, Manager & Track shipments, Instruct Warehouse to receive/deliver/transfer the merchandise -Visit warehouse in NJ and LA regularly to monitor and improve the operation -Follow the instruction of warehouse and importing US regulations -Require Basic level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and outlook  The Goal set in 2017 -to improve accuracy of logistics operation, -to improve efficiency of logistics and operation system -to reduce logistics cost(below 5% of total sales amount)
